Prosopocoilus giraffa keisuke originates from Flores island, Indonesia. It is famously known as the world's longest stag beetle, with the maximum length of 120mm. The males have very long, toothed mandibles that protrude about half the size of their body. These formidable features enable them to be highly competitive during mating season, with males fighting each other using their mandibles to lift and throw rivals to secure a mate. Overall, Prosopocoilus giraffa keisuke is a powerful and striking species of beetle, with a fascinating array of physical attributes and behaviors that have captured the interest of many.
Primarily feeds on rotten hardwood or flake soil.
Beetle larvae go through 3 different larval phases: L1, L2, and L3. After the L3 stage, the larva pupates to turn into an adult beetle!

Adult beetles or larvae are shipped with either a heat pack or cold pack depending on the weather conditions in your area; however, if the weather conditions are extreme(too cold or hot), the beetles will not be shipped until the weather conditions are favorable.
Larvae are shipped with enough substrate to last around a week so please have plenty of substrate ready for them!
Packages are usually sent out on Mondays-Wednesdays.
