Prosopocoilus bison cinctus is a stag beetle native to the Arfak Mountains of Indonesia. Known for its hardiness and adaptability, it is considered one of the easiest stag beetle species to rear and breed in captivity. Adults can reach sizes of up to 75 mm, making it the largest among all subspecies of Prosopocoilus bison.

Primarily feeds on rotten hardwood or flake soil.

Beetle larvae go through 3 different larval phases: L1, L2, and L3. After the L3 stage, the larva pupates to turn into an adult beetle!

To ensure the safe arrival of adult beetles or larvae, packages are shipped with either a heat pack or cold pack, depending on the prevailing weather conditions in the receiving area. However, if the weather conditions are extreme, excessively cold or hot, the shipment will be withheld until the weather becomes favorable.

Larvae are shipped with adequate substrate that should last for approximately one week. It is advisable to have an adequate supply of substrate ready before their arrival.

Packages are usually sent out on Mondays-Wednesdays. 

Two shipping options are available: Standard(USPS Priority) and Express(UPS Overnight). For Live Arrival Guarantee(LAG), you MUST choose the Express shipping option.
