Dorcus titanus yasuokai is a stag beetle species indigenous to Sumatra, Indonesia, known for its robust physique and substantial mandibles. The males are very aggressive and will pretty much bite anything that threatens them. It is important to handle the males with care as they have the capacity to inflict injury and draw blood. These beetles are a popular choice among hobbyists due to their extended lifespan of up to 18 months, contingent on husbandry practices.
Beetle larvae go through 3 different larval phases: L1, L2, and L3. After the L3 stage, the larva pupates to turn into an adult beetle!

To ensure the safe arrival of adult beetles or larvae, packages are shipped with either a heat pack or cold pack, depending on the prevailing weather conditions in the receiving area. However, if the weather conditions are extreme, excessively cold or hot, the shipment will be withheld until the weather becomes favorable.
Larvae are shipped with adequate substrate that should last for approximately one week. It is advisable to have an adequate supply of substrate ready before their arrival.
Packages are usually sent out on Mondays-Wednesdays.
